Ever wondered what some of the tiny codes and letters mean on some CIBA Vision lenses? Many of our lenses utilize engraved codes to better identify a lens. The word "CIBA" on the edge of those lenses can also be used as an inversion indicator. When looking at the outside of the "bowl" of the lens, the "CIBA" engraving should be correct, indicating the correct position for insertion. The letter/number sequence that follows will designate the type of lens and the last number of the base curve.
